Today we have been experimenting and exploring the ways in which fonts and colors effect our perspective on words. For instance, How the background colour with make the foreground colour look more bold, vibrant or perhaps stand out more. Like my word 'Warm'. Here I have used a aboriginal text, the text being associated with hot countries I thought this would describe the word more aptly. I also used a selection a warm colour scheme from a website I was inspired by, using Illustrator to collect the exact colours from the website and using it in this text. All the colours i used were warm colours on the colour chart. On the opposite side of the scale, I decided to pick the word 'Cold'. I used different shades of blue because blue is a cold colour on the colour chart and is the most associated colour with cold. I used a gradients background so that the different shades of blue did not blnd in the with black or white background and still contrasted.
