My Chosen Idea-The feather
I have decided to go with the feather because it has been presented all throughout my work and represents myself really well. I say this because like a feather, my style of drawing is free-flow, delicate and sometime can be complex and intricate. A feather is easily created and can be manipulated in any computer software or traditional way, therefore making it a simple and peaceful symbol to represent myself with. Here are some rough sketches of feather i created on the bamboo graphics tablet using the software 'illustrator'.
I decided to use no colour because I felt as if black, white and grey made them stand out most and since they are just sketch I know I shouldn't put too much detail in as detail and complexity will be added later on in my development.

Developing my Initial Design
These are my logos and the developments I have improved upon them. Using the feather as original inspiration
Initial Logo Design : Colour Theory
Colour Theory is when people immediately represent a colour with a feeling/emotion. For instance red symbolizes danger/anger/hate. If i had a red logo it could give the client a bad physiological impression of me therefore it would be more effective to use a lighter colour which represents peace/purity/positivity. Colour theory is recognized all around the world, however colours represent different emotions in different countries. In England red can means danger however in Japan it is a symbol of strength and courage. I made my logo in different colours so i could see not only which worked best, but which logo the most non threatening however strong and powerful. Choosing a colour for a logo is a important process.
